📋 How to Do This Activity

Step 1

Use ice cream sticks and clay balls to build 2D shapes — triangle (3 sticks), square (4 sticks), rectangle (4 sticks).

Step 2

Count the sides and corners of each 2D shape and record them.

Step 3

Use more sticks and clay to build 3D shapes — cube (12 sticks, 8 clay balls), pyramid (8 sticks, 5 clay balls).

Step 4

Count the faces, edges and vertices of each 3D shape.

Step 5

Cut shapes from coloured paper and fold to find lines of symmetry.
