ℹ️ About the 20% Deduction
The 20% non-refundable processing fee covers payment gateway charges, administrative costs and resources allocated for your child's registration. This applies only when a registered student chooses not to participate — it does not apply if STEMLab India cancels the event.

❌ Cases Where No Refund Applies
- Student attended 3 or more classes and requests refund due to personal reasons or dissatisfaction
- Student was removed from the programme due to misconduct
- Student missed sessions due to personal reasons — missed sessions are not compensated
- Competition video was submitted incorrectly, was of poor quality, or did not follow the rules
- Internet connectivity or device issues on the parent's side during online sessions or live rounds
- Refund requested after May 30, 2026 for the Math Model Makers Competition 2026
- Kit fee once the kit has been handed over or dispatched — regardless of reason
🏫 School Group Registrations
- Refund policy applies per student individually — not for the entire group
- The school coordinator or parent must submit refund requests separately for each student
- Group discount pricing is non-transferable — if a student from a group withdraws, the discount is not retained for their refund calculation
🔄 How to Request a Refund

Include These Details
Child's full name, registered email, Razorpay Payment ID, programme or competition name, and reason for refund request

We Review Your Request
Our team will review and respond within 48 hours confirming whether the refund is applicable based on this policy

Refund Processed
Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days via the original payment method through Razorpay. Refunds appear in your account within 5–7 additional working days depending on your bank
⚠️ Important
All refunds are processed through Razorpay back to the original payment method only. We cannot process refunds to a different bank account, UPI ID or card. STEMLab India does not process cash refunds under any circumstances.
