Terms & Conditions – Math Model Makers Competition 2026

🏆 About the Competition

Math Model Makers Competition 2026 is organised by STEMLab India to encourage young students to explore Mathematics through creativity, model building and STEM learning. Participants build a working Maths model, explain how it works and submit a short video.

Build a working model using Maths concepts and show how it works — a perfect blend of Math + Creativity + STEM.
🎓 Eligibility
  • Open only to students studying in Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3
  • Eligible age group: 5 to 9 years
  • Students from all school boards across India are welcome
  • Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian
  • Incorrect age, grade or school information may result in disqualification
📝 Registration & Payment
  • Registration Fee: ₹150 per participant
  • Registration becomes valid only after successful payment
  • One registration is permitted per child
  • Registration fee is non-refundable except where required by law
  • Payments are securely processed through Razorpay

📅 Competition Timeline
  • Last Date to Register: 14 August 2026
  • Last Date to Submit Video: 15 August 2026
  • Late submissions will not be accepted
📐 Model & Topic Rules
  • Model must be based on Mathematics concepts
  • Working models are encouraged
  • Student should explain the concept in the video
  • Parent guidance is allowed but the work should primarily belong to the child
  • Topics may include Numbers, Shapes, Measurement, Patterns, Data and related Maths concepts
📹 Video Submission Rules
  • Maximum duration: 1 minute
  • Format: MP4 recommended
  • Maximum file size: 100 MB
  • Focus on the model and explanation
  • Submission instructions will be shared after registration
🏅 Certificates & Selection
  • E-Certificate for ALL participants
  • Top three candidates based on performance may qualify for the next round
  • Evaluation decisions are final
📢 Content Usage Permission

By participating, parent/guardian grants permission to STEMLab India to use submitted videos, photographs, participant names, school names and project highlights for educational, promotional, website and social media purposes.

  • STEMLab India is not responsible for upload failures or internet issues
  • Incomplete or invalid submissions may be rejected
  • Rule violations may result in cancellation without refund
⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of Tamil Nadu.
